How to Successfully Interview for a Job - Part 3

The company has called you in for an interview. Congratulations!

6.    Dress for success. (It’s a cliché, but true). Dress at the upper end of how people dress in that particular industry. Shoes are key as well as clothes. The person interviewing you will be impressed that you made the effort to look your best.

7.    Show up for the interview 30 minutes early. By doing this, you are telling them you’re the type of person who is punctual and doesn’t leave anything to chance.

8.    Bring a couple copies of the resume you submitted. The copy you delivered (or sent) may have been misplaced, or more than one person may be interviewing you.

See Part 4 for tips on how to interact with the person doing the interview.
