Angelo Lombardo

In his current role, Angelo Lombardo manages all aspects of Coca-Cola’s West Region business with Sodexo, the nation’s fourth largest food service provider.  His duties include leading West Region personnel in the identification and maximization of new sales opportunities, the execution of marketing initiatives, and ensuring continuous profitable growth in both sales and volume. 

Angelo has a strong history with Coca-Cola.  In his previous role as the Vice President of Business Development, he reconstructed the food service organization’s selling and account renegotiation process.  In addition, he managed the Region’s rollout of Freestyle, Coca-Cola’s most innovative platform in the last fifty years.  Prior to the business development role, Angelo managed Coke’s efforts in the airline channel where he drove share from 55% to over 90%. 

Angelo comes to Coca-Cola from Coca-Cola Enterprises, the world’s largest bottler.  While at “CCE” he was the National Account Executive for British Petroleum.  Before joining CCE, Angelo served as ARCO ampm’s beverage category manager, were he was responsible for over $250MM in sales. 

In addition to his work at Coke, Angelo is a dynamic public speaker whose presentations are powerful, emotional as well instructive.  His talks focus on inspiring individuals and organizations to adopt an offensive mindset to break through barriers and bring their organizations to new levels.     

Angelo grew up in Southern California.  He did his undergraduate work at the University of San Diego where he graduated in 1989 with a degree in communications and a minor in business administration. 

In addition to his undergraduate degree, he holds a Master’s of Business Administration from UC Irvine’s Paul Merage’s school of business. 

Angelo lives in the Inland Northwest with his wife, two daughters, and an ever expanding array of pets.  His interests include: teaching, blogging, Vblogging, horses, speaking and obstacle running.
